The vom Siebengemeindewald kennel in Berga is dedicated to the Polish Hound and is affiliated with the VDH. At the center is a bitch born in the Czech Republic, who lives in the family pack with other dogs. She combines a pronounced desire to find with a passion for hunting, a distinct voice on the trail and track, as well as balanced behavior in everyday life. When hunting, the bitch works obediently both from the stand and while beating through cover, remaining close to the handler. She has the necessary sharpness for working on wounded game. She has successfully demonstrated the Verbandsschweißprüfung Sw1, the aptitude test and her suitability for searching cover. The kennel name refers to the Siebengemeindewald forest area in the southern Harz and to the breeder’s long-standing hunting connection with this region. The aim is to produce healthy, willing-to-work, steady-natured and hunting-oriented dogs for hunters.
