The hobby kennel vom Kätchenstein is dedicated to the Gończy Polski, also known as Ogar Polski, in a family setting. The focus is on healthy, balanced and even-tempered dogs with a willingness to work, as well as careful socialization. The breeding program follows the guidelines of the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH). The dogs and puppies grow up in the house and in close family surroundings. A property of around two hectares is available for exercise and activities, where they can develop freely. The Gończy Polski is described as a versatile companion suitable for family life, hunting and working-dog activities. This year, the kennel expects its first litter. The puppies receive an FCI pedigree from the VDH and are dewormed several times, vaccinated and microchipped before being handed over. They also receive an EU pet passport.
