Pitch-Black-Thy is a small, family-oriented Flat-Coated Retriever breeding kennel in Bedsted Thy. The kennel has two bitches and had its first litter of puppies in 2007; since then, five litters have been born. The breeding programme is also affiliated with the DKK breeder education programme. In rural surroundings, the dogs have plenty of space, with their own fields right by the home. They are a natural part of everyday life and are trained year-round at the local DcH. Work with the dogs also includes tracking training and preparation for field trials. When planning litters, Pitch-Black-Thy places emphasis on health, a good temperament and early socialisation. The puppies grow up indoors in the house and are part of daily family life, so they have close contact with people from the beginning.
