Jiggers

Jiggers in Allingåbro has been involved with Flat-Coated Retrievers since 1971. The breeding focuses on Danish dogs and occasionally introduces new lines. The aim is to breed healthy and harmonious dogs with good abilities and the qualities for which the breed is known. Jiggers has completed the DKK breeder education. The dogs live as part of family life and participate both in training and in activities suited to the breed’s natural aptitudes. Particular emphasis is placed on qualities such as calmness, concentration and willingness to cooperate, as well as on the dog’s ability to use its innate qualities. Jiggers offers guidance throughout the puppy’s upbringing and arranges training, annual gatherings and seminars. Among the breeding programme’s dogs are working and hunting champions, show champions, as well as one dog with both titles. Many puppies have become cherished family dogs, and several families have chosen dogs from the breeding programme through three generations.
