Bellis Bellissimo

Bellis Bellissimo in Bedsted Thy breeds Norwegian Buhund and Drever as a home breeder. Births take place in the living room of the home, where each litter’s weight, sex, colour and time of birth are recorded. Shortly afterwards, the bitch and puppies settle in a smaller whelping box in the bedroom, so that the first period can be closely monitored. When the bitch has settled into her maternal role and the puppies are developing well, the litter moves back to the living room. Here they become part of everyday life and encounter the sounds, people and animals that move around the home. The aim is to let the puppies gradually experience their surroundings in familiar and safe conditions. In suitable weather, the puppies also go out into the enclosed garden, where they can explore the area and move freely under supervision. Short car trips are likewise part of their early experiences. Bellis Bellissimo places emphasis on thorough socialisation before departure and has completed DKK's breeder training.
