Irish Terrier vom Haseland Irish Terrier breeder in Merzen · Germany

Irish Terrier vom Haseland breeds Irish Terriers in Merzen with a particular focus on health and preserving the breed’s characteristic temperament. The breeding program is affiliated with the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. Irish Terriers have been part of the breeding routine for more than three decades and are described as robust, spirited dogs that are also closely devoted to their people. A central aspect of the breeding concept is digital hyperkeratosis, also known as “Corny Feet”. Both parents are proven free (N/N) by DNA testing, meaning that the puppies are also free from this disease. Through the careful selection of breeding partners, the breeding program aims to help prevent hereditary diseases from being passed on within the population and to preserve the breed’s resilience. Alongside health, an original breed type is given priority; fashionable exaggerations are deliberately rejected. The breeding dogs and numerous offspring are presented at shows at home and abroad, including CRUFTS. Irish Terrier vom Haseland places importance on the responsible selection of future owners and provides detailed information about personal initiative, character and the breed’s special characteristics.
