Vom Maiburger Schloss breeds Shetland Sheepdogs in Merzen, also known as Shelties. The aim is to produce healthy, intelligent and even-tempered dogs with an attractive appearance and balanced temperament. The puppies should be suitable as loving family companions. The young dogs grow up in the family with children. The breeding program places importance on early imprinting and socialization: The puppies become familiar with everyday situations in the household, traffic and loud noises, as well as other animals. In this way, they are gradually accustomed to different environmental stimuli. According to its own statements, the breeding program follows the strict guidelines of the FCI standard within the Deutscher Rassehund Verband. When they leave, the puppies have DRV papers, are vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed, and receive a veterinary health certificate. A starter set with food, toys, a blanket, and feeding and vaccination schedules is provided.
