Rufus Irish Terrier breeder in Menslage · Germany

The Rufus … dog breeding kennel in Menslage is dedicated to the Irish Terrier. Since 1979, this breed has accompanied the breeding work, which has now reached the tenth self-bred generation. In around forty years, 35 litters have been born; throughout, a demanding selection has always taken precedence over a large number of litters. Health and genetic diversity form essential foundations of the breeding program. Equally important are the elegant, breed-typical Irish Terrier, a balanced temperament, and the characteristic red coat. Veterinary expertise informs the breeding decisions. American lines were introduced as early as 1994, followed by Australian lines as a further innovation in 2010. Each new litter is prepared attentively, expertly, and lovingly for its future life. The breeding program also provides the future puppy owners with advice beyond the puppies’ departure. Rufus … is affiliated with the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. and is committed to the Irish Terrier with many years of experience.
