Vom Daxstein

Vom Daxstein has been breeding German Wolfspitz, a variety of the German Spitz, in Fischbachau since 2007. The breeding establishment belongs to the Verein für Deutsche Spitze e.V. and follows its framework within the VDH and the FCI. The preservation of the breed’s original character is the central focus. Healthy, even-tempered breeding dogs form the foundation. Pedigree records, inbreeding coefficients, health examinations and kennel inspections support controlled breeding in the animals’ interest. The dogs are family members and remain in the pack even after their breeding years. The Wolfspitz is considered an intelligent, independent and vigilant companion dog that requires close contact and loving, consistent guidance. Its coat protects against sun, wind and moisture. From time to time, Vom Daxstein places puppies in responsible hands and provides advice on the breed.
