vom Gebirgsjägerhof Irish Red Setter breeder in Fischbachau · Germany

The vom Gebirgsjägerhof kennel has been dedicated to Irish and English Setters since 1965. The Irish Red Setter in particular, as well as the characteristic traits of these Setter breeds, are at the heart of its work. Beauty and performance are the defining focuses of the breeding program. The Gebirgsjägerhof combines the dogs’ outward expression with their breed-typical qualities. Its long-standing orientation makes clear that both aspects are not considered separately: In addition to an appealing appearance, the Setters’ performance also matters. The kennel is affiliated with the Verein für Pointer und Setter e.V. With its specialization in Irish and English Setters, which has existed for many decades, vom Gebirgsjägerhof presents itself as a breeding establishment whose focus lies on breed-typical beauty and performance.
