Coachman’s breeds Gordon Setters in Brannenburg, with particular emphasis on health, working ability and a well-balanced temperament. The breeding goal is dogs that are suitable both for hunting and for life in a family. Many litters are descended from performance-tested parent dogs. The family-based rearing is closely oriented towards people. The puppies are initially born in the house and, at around four weeks of age, move into a specially prepared puppy house with a large adjoining play area. Different play opportunities support their development there and provide varied activities. Daily play and the gentle practice of their first commands are part of everyday rearing. Coachman’s advises prospective puppy owners before acquisition and also supports them in the long term after the move-in. The breeding is affiliated with the Verein für Pointer und Setter e.V.
