Hólarvik's Icelandic Sheepdog breeder in Store Merløse · Denmark

Hólarvik’s breeds Icelandic Sheepdogs in Store Merløse on Zealand. The goal is harmonious, breed-typical puppies with a stable temperament. Breeding is based on genetically healthy, HD-free parent dogs with a low inbreeding coefficient and no eye problems. The breeder has completed the Danish Kennel Club’s breeder education. The puppies grow up close to the breeder, who follows their early imprinting. From the third to the sixth week, they receive learning and reassuring experiences that support later behaviour. They meet cats, sheep, horses, other dog breeds, children, machinery and sudden sounds, and house-training is part of the process. At departure, guidance, familiar starter food, a comfort blanket, toys and small items accompany the puppy. Hólarvik’s continues to provide advice after the move and arranges puppy reunions where puppy buyers can meet.
