Heillaður

Heillaður is a dog kennel in Roskilde with Icelandic Sheepdogs and Australian Shepherds. The kennel has completed DKK’s breeder education and works with breeding in a home environment, where the puppies stay inside the house as a natural part of everyday life. The focus is on healthy dogs that correspond to the type of the breeds. Before the puppies move, the kennel spends time on imprinting, socialisation and environmental training. The early efforts are intended to give the puppies a good foundation during the first important weeks of their development. The breeding is planned in accordance with applicable rules and recommendations. Heillaður places emphasis on sharing knowledge about its dogs and the individual breeds, as well as on creating a good dialogue about the breeding. The kennel offers a family-oriented environment with the puppies’ well-being and development at the centre.
