Ástríkur

Kennel Ástríkur is a small family breeding establishment of Icelandic Sheepdogs in Brønshøj. The breeding establishment has completed DKK's breeder education and places emphasis on responsible conditions for the dogs. The work is based on the current guidelines from both DKK and the club for Icelandic Sheepdogs. In March 2024, the kennel had a litter of four puppies, with three females and one male. The puppies from this litter have already moved on to their new families. The information provides insight into the breeding establishment's most recent litter and the close, family-oriented way of raising puppies. The puppies spend their first time in the family home and become part of the everyday environment from the beginning. Growing up in a home environment gives them close contact in daily life. Kennel Ástríkur thus represents a smaller breeding establishment, where family life, care and respect for the breed's rules are central elements.
