Brynjuheim's

Brynjuheim's is a home-based breeding kennel for Icelandic Sheepdogs in Brønshøj. The puppies grow up close to everyday life and gain experiences suited both to urban environments and to life in the countryside. A litter born on 3 July is planned to be ready to move on from 28 August. The breeder has completed DKK's breeder education. The kennel prioritizes breed-typical Icelandic Sheepdogs with a stable temperament and sound genetic foundations. As a general rule, the females have no more than two litters, and mating takes place no earlier than when they are three years old. This practice takes into account that the breed develops slowly. The breeding follows both DKK's regulations and the stricter guidelines from Islandsk Fårehundeklub. Brynjuheim's also places emphasis on sharing knowledge about the breed and the conditions in which the dogs grow up.
