Haus Rosenpracht Rough Collie breeder in Heusweiler · Germany

The Haus Rosenpracht kennel has been breeding Bearded Collies since its protected name registration in 1994. Since 2001, the breeding program has been located in Heusweiler, where a large house and a garden covering around 2,000 square meters provide the setting for keeping the dogs and pursuing breeding plans. Membership in the Deutscher Collie-Club e.V. complements the profile of the breeding program. The dogs live together as a pack in the house and not in a traditional kennel facility. Haus Rosenpracht regards the Collie as a family dog and organizes its keeping accordingly. The surroundings, with fields and forests, offer opportunities for extended walks; the dogs can regularly enjoy exercise and free running there. About twice a year, raising a litter is the focus of everyday life. Haus Rosenpracht devotes special attention to the young dogs so that they receive the best possible start to their later lives as dogs. The family accommodation and proximity to the pack shape the puppies’ first weeks.
