von der Osteraue

Von der Osteraue is a small hobby breeding program for Bearded Collies, whose name was inspired by the Ostertal. The kennel name was protected by the FCI and VDH in 2019 and refers to the scenic origins of the breeding location. On the outskirts of the village of Marth, extensive meadows, woodland areas and the Osterauen shape the dogs’ surroundings. The natural setting allows short routes into the open air and accompanies the Collies’ everyday life in a quiet, rural environment. At the centre are lovable Collies with a calm, well-established character, who are intended to convey joy through their appearance. Von der Osteraue prefers a rather large-framed type with an easily maintained amount of coat and a strong, harmonious movement, oriented towards the breed standard.
