Thy's

Thy’s is a dog kennel based in Thisted, where Norwegian Buhund and Drever are bred. The kennel places emphasis on the dogs’ well-being and on a responsible approach to breeding, so that the dogs have a natural and close place in everyday life. The dogs are described as part of the family, reflecting the close relationship with each individual dog. In its breeding work, Thy’s prioritizes mentally healthy dogs. The dogs undergo, among other things, back radiography and eye examinations before they are included in the breeding program. In addition, both the kennel’s own dogs and breeding partners have received awards at working trials and been shown at exhibitions, as part of the assessment of their qualities. The kennel has completed DKK’s breeder education. With a focus on health, temperament and documented results, Thy’s seeks to create good conditions for its dogs and its breeding work in Thisted.
