Wenkje's

Wenkje's is a dog breeding kennel in Vejle with Keeshond and Mittelspitz, varieties of German Spitz. Keeshond has been part of the breeding programme since 1985, and typically around one litter is born annually. The aim is healthy dogs with a good temperament and a breed-typical appearance. The kennel has completed DKK's breeder education. The adult dogs live as part of the family in the home. During their upbringing, the puppies are introduced to activity and varied impressions that can prepare them for their new everyday life. The kennel prioritises visits before an agreement, especially if a family has not previously owned Keeshond. The puppies are registered with Dansk Kennelklub and Dansk Hunderegister, microchipped and examined by a veterinarian before reaching eight weeks of age. They receive recommended deworming treatments and a health book. The parents have the best stated status for HD and AD, and the puppies are born free of PhPt. The kennel recommends reward-based puppy training.
