Kennel HappyMittel’s is a small home breeding program of German Spitz, Mittelspitz, in the area around Struer in West Jutland. The goal is to breed healthy and harmonious dogs with a good, stable temperament. Typically, around one litter is expected annually, and the dogs live as a natural part of everyday life in the home. The breeding program follows the Danish Kennel Club’s breeding recommendations for the breed and has completed the DKK breeder education. The breeding dogs undergo eye examinations and examinations for patellar luxation, and they must also be approved for conformation at a show. The puppies are delivered with a DKK pedigree, and documentation of the results can be viewed via DKK. The puppies are born and spend their first eight weeks in the living room, where they encounter ordinary sounds and situations from family life. This early acclimatization is intended to give them a secure foundation for developing into loving and well-functioning family dogs.
