The Hovawart breeding program von Lahn und Dill in Breidenbach aims to produce healthy, even-tempered and well-shaped dogs. The focus is on Hovawarts that prove themselves to be well-balanced family dogs while also showing enthusiasm for a wide range of shared activities. The breeding program places importance on typey, versatile Hovawarts with a willingness to work, which are also suitable for sporting activities. Health and a stable temperament form important foundations for a relaxed life together. The breeding program is affiliated with the Rassezuchtverein für Hovawart-Hunde e.V. The puppies grow up in the house and garden, where space is available for their first discoveries. Contact with people and age-appropriate social interaction with other living beings are encouraged. They grow up in a small pack of dogs together with a tomcat and become familiar with various situations and encounters. Further contact with the new families is desired.
