von den Flecker Schlossgeistern Hovawart breeder in Katzenelnbogen · Germany

At von den Flecker Schlossgeistern in Katzenelnbogen, Hovawarts are the focus. The breed has been part of family life since 1998, both in everyday life and on trips. The path to hobby breeding began with the female dog Sabu. The goal is healthy dogs with a well-established social nature. The breeding is based on FCI breed standard no. 190. Health precautions include evaluations for HD and ED, a DM test, as well as examinations of thyroid function and by cardiac ultrasound. These criteria are also taken into account when choosing a stud dog. The puppies are born and raised in the house. Early socialisation and a wide range of impressions indoors and outdoors prepare them for the start. After completing their eighth week of life, they move to their families vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and with a pedigree. The breeding establishment continues to support the well-being of its dogs afterwards with advice and assistance.
