The Kennel of Taskan has existed since 1992 and is located in Blankensee. The kennel is dedicated to the Finnish Lapphund and is affiliated with the Deutscher Club für Nordische Hunde e.V. The kennel’s many years of experience are also based on growing up with dogs of different breeds. In 2000, the kennel turned its interest to Lapinporokoiras. The first puppy of this breed came from Denmark; another female was taken over from a Dutch breeding program. International lines thus also shaped the development of the stock. One of the females gave birth to seven puppies at the end of June. The father is said to be a highly decorated male from Finland who lives in Kashubia, Poland. The kennel thus combines its breeding experience, established since the early litters, with Nordic bloodlines from several European countries.
