Erimathi

Erimathi is a breeding establishment for Finnish Lapphunds (Suomenlapinkoira) in Uelzen. The breeding program follows the breeding regulations of the Deutscher Club für Nordische Hunde e. V. (DCNH), which is affiliated with the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen e. V. (VDH). The breeding establishment holds the VDH breeder certificate, which requires professional qualifications. Further training through the VDH Academy serves to continuously expand kynological knowledge. Erimathi was assessed according to the DCNH’s requirements and is also a member of the Gesellschaft zur Förderung Kynologischer Forschung e. V. Particular emphasis is placed on health care in the breeding program. The breeding animals used have been genetically tested for prcd-PRA, a progressive retinal atrophy, as well as GSD II, glycogen storage disease type II, and are free from these hereditary diseases. Genetic tests are used to responsibly take possible hereditary risks into account.
