Nørlevgaard

Nørlevgaard is a small home breeding kennel of Icelandic Sheepdogs in South Funen, based in Gamle Stenderup. The kennel currently has one breeding bitch, and therefore puppies are not necessarily expected every year. The bitch lives closely with the family and is part of everyday life as a valued family member. Puppies are born and raised in a home environment together with children, cats, chickens and Icelandic horses. This everyday life gives them the opportunity to encounter different sounds, animals and people from an early age. The aim is to give the puppies a secure start and a good foundation for socialisation. Great emphasis is placed on healthy, well-socialised Icelandic Sheepdogs with a friendly and cooperative temperament. The kennel follows current requirements and recommendations for breeding and health examinations and has completed DKK's breeder education. A professional background in small-animal practice contributes to the focus on the dogs' welfare.
