The Mweya Ridgebacks kennel in Nersingen is dedicated to breeding Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Its goal is to produce healthy, strong-charactered dogs that correspond to the breed type and are convincing both physically and in temperament. The kennel is affiliated with the Deutsche Züchtergemeinschaft Rhodesian Ridgeback e.V. The dogs live in the house and participate in everyday life as permanent family members. Particular care is taken when selecting the parent dogs. A health-conscious puppy rearing programme and the early acclimatisation of the young dogs to people and their surroundings are also central priorities. For the puppies, the kennel wishes for responsible and loving families. Prospective owners are met personally before the puppies are handed over, so that a suitable home can be found for each Rhodesian Ridgeback. Even after the move, the kennel continues to accompany the new families with advice and support.
