The name combines a Kiswahili term for a good or beautiful dog with the English designation for Silver Mountain. The location on the edge of the forest and near Stuttgart shapes the breeding environment. At the heart of the breeding program are responsible, forward-looking litter planning and careful selection of stud dogs. The aim is to preserve and further develop the health, stable temperament, character and breed-typical appearance of the Rhodesian Ridgeback.
