The vom Kettengrund kennel in Leonberg is dedicated to the Old German Shepherd Dog. The focus is on healthy, beautiful and athletic dogs with balanced temperaments that prove themselves just as well in everyday life as in shared activities. The kennel is affiliated with the Rassezuchtverein für Weisse Schweizer Schäferhunde e.V. Each litter is carefully planned, accompanied by exchanges with experienced breeders. The dogs are specifically prepared for conformation shows and examinations; preventive care includes vaccinations, deworming, physiotherapy training, cardio training, good food and grooming. Particular attention is paid to traits that make the dog suitable for sport and service. The puppies grow up within the pack and are gradually prepared for their future environment. Various sounds, ground surfaces and visual impressions promote their confidence in their surroundings. Through contact with other dogs and additional animals, they also receive comprehensive social imprinting.
