Dahlmeldgaards

Dahlmeldgaards is a small, family-oriented breeding establishment of Broholmers in Struer. The kennel describes its work as kitchen breeding, where the dogs live closely together with the family. At the time of the presentation, the breeding establishment had two Broholmers, which are fully integrated into everyday life, and its contribution to the preservation of the breed to date consisted of one litter of puppies. The breeding establishment focuses on breeding Broholmers with good health, a robust temperament and an appearance corresponding to the breed type. Dahlmeldgaards wishes to support both the preservation and the continued spread of the breed, but does not consider the number of litters decisive. Breeding is only carried out when the necessary time is available for the puppies’ care and early development. The close setting around the dogs is central to the kennel, which places emphasis on puppies getting a suitable start in life. Dahlmeldgaards has completed DKK breeder training and works with the Broholmer as its only breed.
