Good Spirit Barbet's Barbet breeder in Gudbjerg · Denmark

Good Spirit Barbet's is a small Danish family breeding program of Barbet, also known as French Water Dog. It is described as the first Danish breeding program of the breed, and the dogs are a natural part of the family. The breeding program has also completed DKK's breeder education. In its breeding work, Good Spirit Barbet's prioritizes health, a stable temperament and genetic variation. The close, family-oriented setting is central to the breeding program's everyday life and to the way the dogs are kept. The focus is therefore both on the breed's characteristics and on a responsible foundation for breeding. The Barbet is presented as a versatile and medium-sized, work-loving dog with a long, curly coat. The breed is described as loyal, affectionate, happy and intelligent, while also being playful and occasionally a little silly. It forms a strong bond with its owner, and the breeding program is happy to share knowledge about this lesser-known breed and its work with it.
