The Il Tocco della Rosa Kennel, dedicated to the Chihuahua in Isola della Scala, conducts its activities with the protection and selection of the breed at the centre. The choice of breeding considers pedigrees, bloodlines, and the morphological and temperamental qualities of the dogs, with the aim of promoting healthy and balanced puppies.
The adults undergo the veterinary checks and genetic and health tests indicated for the breed. The puppies grow up in a family environment, with daily stimuli and constant contact, to support their socialisation and discovery of the new environment from the earliest stages of life.
After weaning and staying with their mother and siblings, the puppies are entrusted with an ENCI/FCI pedigree, microchip, registration with the Canine Registry, health booklet, treatments carried out, and a certificate of good health. The kennel also provides guidance on growth, education, and nutrition and receives prospective families by appointment.
