Cunninghams Coonhounds is a dog breeding kennel established in 1987 in Rheine and affiliated with the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) e.V. After previously breeding Setters, the focus today is on the American Black and Tan Coonhound, an original, eager-to-perform and family-oriented breed. The dogs are closely integrated into everyday life and are part of the permanent family pack. The focus is on species-appropriate keeping, carefully supervised puppy rearing, good socialization, as well as the animals’ health and a balanced temperament. In addition, the kennel has been involved in animal welfare for many years and has already taken in numerous dogs temporarily, including bitches with their litters. Some animals remained permanently in the pack. When placing dogs, Cunninghams Coonhounds places value on open advice and responsible, loving families.
