Box Unix

Box Unix is a small Boxer kennel in Otterup, focusing on healthy, breed-typical and beautiful dogs. The kennel is deliberately kept at a manageable size, so the dogs can be part of the family. The puppies are born and raised inside the home with close contact around the clock. Growing up in the house accustoms the puppies early on to the sounds of everyday life, including the television, telephone and vacuum cleaner. At the same time, emphasis is placed on socialisation, so they can have a secure transition to their future families. Health is central to the breeding work, and the breeding dogs are carefully selected with a view to balancing strengths and weaknesses. They are examined for hip dysplasia according to DKK's rules, as well as for aortic and pulmonic stenosis and spondylosis. Stud dogs used must also have relevant health examinations.
