Finch's Black Diamond

Finch's Black Diamond is a small dog breeding kennel on Northern Funen, based in Otterup. The kennel works with Labrador Retriever F1 and Staffordshire Bull Terrier and places emphasis on healthy dogs with a breed-typical appearance. Both physical health and mental well-being are central considerations in the breeding work. The breeding dogs are tested for genetic diseases before they are used in the breeding programme. The puppies grow up in a home environment, where they encounter ordinary everyday sounds, other dogs, children and cats. They are also trained in different situations, so they gain a solid foundation for moving safely in new environments. The kennel has completed the DKK breeder education programme, and all puppies have a DKK pedigree. Several Labradors from the kennel's breeding programme have been sold to the Funen Police and have subsequently received training as bomb, narcotics and weapons detection dogs.
