De Amicia

Kennel De Amicia is a Boxer kennel in Give, founded after completing the Danish Kennel Club’s breeder education in 2013. The kennel name was awarded the following year. The name has Latin origins and refers to friendship, reflecting the view of the dogs and puppies as highly valued friends and family members. The breeding programme prioritises health and a good, friendly temperament, while also working towards Boxers that closely conform to the breed standard. The goal is athletic, energetic and muscular dogs with both courage and drives, so that the Boxer’s qualities as a working dog are preserved and the dogs have the prerequisites for activity and work. Behind the kennel lies practical experience with dog sports at competition level as well as participation in shows. The professional expertise includes training as an authorised veterinary nurse, dog trainer and behaviourist. Keeping dogs and breeding are described as a lifestyle, in which work with the breed has a central place.
