It all depends on where your puppy comes from
Acquiring from a reputable breeder makes it possible to know the puppy’s origins and the health checks carried out. Shelters and associations can also offer bichons or related dogs for adoption.

What about once they're home?
A price that seems too good to be true?
- An abnormally low price may conceal an unverifiable origin, insufficient socialization, or the absence of health monitoring.
- Ask to see the mother, the breeding conditions, the puppy’s identification, and the breeders’ health results.
- Check the transfer documents, the announced LOF registration, and the certificate of commitment before acquisition.
FAQ
Your questions about price
Answers to common questions from prospective owners.
The observed price depends on the lineage, pedigree, health tests, the breeder's reputation, and the puppy's intended purpose. You should also plan for grooming, food, and health expenses.
The usual budget includes food, preventive veterinary care, possible insurance, accessories, and above all regular professional grooming of its curly coat.
