Purchase price
It all depends on where your puppy comes from
Acquiring from a reputable breeder remains the most consistent route to look for a well-socialized, identified and monitored Beauceron. The price difference then depends greatly on the pedigree, the breeding dogs’ tests and the purpose: companion, work or show.

A price that seems too good to be true?
- An abnormally low price should prompt you to check identification, health, and breeding conditions.
- Ask for relevant health screenings of the breeding dogs and a clear contract.
- The maintenance budget over several years often exceeds the purchase price.

Your questions about price
Answers to common questions from prospective owners.
The purchase price remains only part of the budget. You must also plan for the food of a large active dog, veterinary care, equipment and, depending on the case, insurance and canine activities.
