The Die Katzenzucht von der Wülzburg cattery is a registered hobby cattery for Maine Coons in Weißenburg in Bayern, around 40 kilometres from Nürnberg. The animals are bred with papers. From time to time, typey Maine Coon kittens from the small cattery are available. Early imprinting of the young animals is given high priority. So that they can develop undisturbed and become well socialised, the kittens leave the cattery at the earliest at 16 weeks of age. They experience their everyday life in the living area and thereby develop a particularly open and people-oriented nature. The young cats grow up in contact with dogs, children and other cats. All cats have the entire house at their free disposal; in addition, they can use a spacious outdoor enclosure. This environment offers the Maine Coons a variety of impressions and accompanies them on their way to becoming well-balanced family cats.
