Maineswildcat´s Maine Coon breeder in Oberasbach · Germany

The Maineswildcat´s cattery in Oberasbach has focused on Maine Coons for several years. Engagement with this breed has been shaped by numerous shows as well as by studying catteries and lines in Germany and abroad. The focus is on a particularly expressive, breed-typical Maine Coon type. When selecting matings, the cattery is guided by lines such as Wallenstein´s, Thundercats, Pitlochry´s, Cosy Coon and Weidebusch. These lines, some of which trace back to Heidi-Ho cats, correspond to the appearance that Maineswildcat´s particularly appreciates. Accordingly, these cattery names are also reflected in the cats’ pedigrees. In addition to the typeful overall appearance according to the breed standard, Maineswildcat´s places great importance on healthy breeding cats. A people-oriented, affectionate nature is equally important. The cattery thus combines the aspiration for health and character with the preservation of the characteristic charisma of the Maine Coon.
