The von der Stoawendt kennel is based in Bad Ischl in the scenic Salzkammergut region. Animals have long been part of family life there. The interest in the Old German Shepherd Dog began with the fulfilment of a long-cherished wish and developed into a special bond with this breed. Before the first litter, the kennel had the bitch examined by a veterinarian, including for hip and elbow dysplasia. The selection of a suitable stud dog was also carried out with great care. This led to close contact with experienced breeders, who provided von der Stoawendt with advice and support during the subsequent steps. In October 2016, seven healthy puppies were born. The positive experiences during their rearing and the exchange with the future dog owners encouraged the kennel to continue along this path. The aim is to place healthy and strong-willed Old German Shepherd Dogs with people who appreciate their qualities.
