Imperial-Shelties

Imperial-Shelties runs a small, family-run breeding program for Shetland Sheepdogs in Bad Ischl. The focus is on Shelties in the colours Bi-Blue, Tricolour and Blue Merle. The rearing is geared towards close coexistence in a family environment. The mother dogs of the puppies are therapy dogs. As a result, the young dogs also gain impressions from the facilities visited by the female dogs as part of their socialisation. This allows them to become familiar with different situations outside their familiar rearing environment at an early stage. Even during puppyhood, the dogs live together with cats, birds and turtles. In addition to varied socialisation, exercise also plays an important role: the Shelties are described as athletic and enjoy being active on the dog training field doing agility.
