The Von der Elmhexe kennel is dedicated to the Irish Terrier in Vahlberg, on the edge of the Elm. At its heart is a small and carefully run dog breeding operation, whose everyday life is shaped by the close bond with the animals and their place in family life. The kennel’s dogs are not only family dogs, but are also actively engaged. A particular focus is placed on search and rescue dog work, in which the animals are regularly deployed. Activity and working together with the dogs are therefore part of the kennel’s everyday life. Von der Elmhexe is affiliated with the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. The kennel presents the Irish Terrier as a lively companion that grows up in a family environment and is also encouraged through its work in the search and rescue dog field.
