The Hovawart breeding kennel vom Yoldia-Meer in Quarnbek arose from a long-standing connection with this breed. After the living situation had changed, the first Hovawart bitch of her own moved in in 2018. Since then, enthusiasm for the Hovawart has shaped the everyday life of the small pack. In a quiet location near Kiel, the bitch lives in a house with a garden and can use all areas of the house and property. In addition to shared family life, activities are also part of everyday life: Obedience has been practised since 2018, and Mantrailing was added as another activity in 2022. The first litter was born in summer 2023 and comprised three bitches and four dogs, who have since moved in with their families. A B-litter is planned for 2025 at the earliest.
