Aus Abilenes Garten is a Hovawart kennel in Mönkeberg on the Kiel Fjord. The kennel grew out of a long-standing connection with animals and the wish to share life with a dog of its own. In 2014, Abilene became the first Hovawart to join the household and established a special enthusiasm for this breed. In 2021, the kennel’s first A-litter was born. Annikki, a female from this litter, stayed in the home and has enriched everyday life together with Abilene ever since. The experience of living with two dogs has further deepened the joy of keeping dogs and the bond with the Hovawart. Aus Abilenes Garten is affiliated with the Hovawart Zuchtgemeinschaft Deutschland e.V. The breeding work also includes professional development in training and involvement in the breed club’s public relations activities. The kennel is preparing for the B-litter.
