The Vom Wunderhorn kennel in Gondenbrett has been dedicated to the Berger des Pyrénées for many years. These lively herding dogs from the Pyrenees accompany the kennel’s everyday life on walks and during travels. The focus is on close living together with the dogs and their breed-typical characteristics. The origins of the kennel lie with a first female dog that came directly from a farmer in the Pyrenees. This connection to the breed’s origins continues to shape its direction to this day. The Berger des Pyrénées is valued as an attentive, intelligent, and versatile herding dog. To preserve the breed’s original character, dogs from shepherds in the Pyrenees are occasionally included in the breeding program. Vom Wunderhorn is also affiliated with Club Berger des Pyrénées 1983 e.V. and is committed to breeding that is guided by the roots of these special dogs.
