vom Heidetal

The vom Heidetal kennel in Heiligenhaus has been dedicated to the Berger des Pyrénées for more than two decades. It all began in 1991 with a first female dog from a French kennel; since then, this special breed has shaped the family’s everyday life. The kennel is affiliated with the Club Berger des Pyrénées 1983 e.V. As a family kennel, each member takes on specific tasks in caring for the dogs. The Bergers des Pyrénées live closely with the family and are valued as attentive, people-oriented companions. Their enjoyment of shared activities, their ability to learn and their quick comprehension correspond to their original character as herding dogs. Raising the puppies is a particularly rewarding part of the kennel’s work. Their development is accompanied from growing up in familiar surroundings to moving into a new home. Even after they have been handed over, contact with many puppy families is maintained; visits with the adult dogs are greatly appreciated.
