vom Sprickefeld Jagdterrier breeder in Rheine · Germany

Vom Sprickefeld in Rheine is dedicated to breeding and hunting work with German Hunting Terriers. The offspring are primarily intended for the breeder’s own hunting use; as a rule, one to two litters are born each year. Membership in the Deutscher Jagdterrier-Club has existed since 1980. The focus of the breeding program is on steady-nerved, sociable dogs that prove themselves in handling. At the same time, the German Hunting Terriers are expected to perform their tasks reliably while demonstrating toughness and endurance. These qualities shape the selection and practical work with the dogs. Vom Sprickefeld keeps a pack of German Hunting Terriers, which is used particularly for driven hunts. Den hunting is also part of the kennel’s everyday hunting activities. In addition, tracking wounded game is carried out whenever time permits. The owner’s handling of the dogs thus forms an important basis for the offspring.
