"vom Schloß Ramstedt"

The dog breeding kennel vom Schloß Ramstedt in Loitsche has been dedicated to responsible breeding since 1972. For many years, both Collies and Shetland Sheepdogs were the focus. Today, the breeding program is fully focused on the Shetland Sheepdog and continues to follow the principle of putting quality before quantity. A particular success of the former Collie breeding program was the bitch “O Wendy Blue vom Schloß Ramstedt”, who was named Germany’s most successful show bitch in 2008 according to Collierevue. The Shetland Sheepdogs of the breeding program aim to build on these show successes. The breeding dogs are fully vaccinated and microchipped. They are also tested for CEA, PRA, cataracts, hip dysplasia and MDR1; they are described as clear of CEA, PRA, cataracts and HD. Occasionally, Shetland Sheepdog puppies from the breeding program are available.
