Vom Olwenhof has been breeding Old German Shepherd Dogs since 1973 in a family tradition. Its many years of experience shape the selection and rearing of these versatile dogs. As reliable companions, they are particularly suited to active people and can also find their place in family life. The dogs do not grow up in kennels, but live together with the family in the house and garden. This means that from the very beginning, the puppies experience close contact with everyday life and the pack. Vom Olwenhof places importance on the dogs growing up in a familiar, family environment. The breeding females meet the required breeding conditions and are also used in search and rescue work. Particular attention is paid to health and fitness, which is also evident in the older members of the pack. The breeding programme is registered with the Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV) e.V. and also offers advice and support after the dogs have been placed.
