vom Hegebachtal Hovawart breeder in Gersdorf · Germany

The family hobby kennel vom Hegebachtal in Gersdorf is dedicated to breeding Hovawarts of the old GDR type with papers. The focus is on dogs kept as family dogs and raised in a close family environment. The kennel accompanies the puppies’ development from the very beginning and places importance on early, everyday-oriented support. The young Hovawarts live together with their parents and grandparents as a family group. In addition, they get to know many human contacts. This environment is intended to enable them to gather various impressions in a familiar atmosphere and gradually become accustomed to living together with people and other dogs. The rearing process also includes car rides, typical everyday situations and encounters with cats as part of their socialisation. The parent dogs are described as friendly and healthy family dogs; they are HD-, ED- and DM-free. vom Hegebachtal thus combines family-based keeping with versatile preparation of the puppies for their future everyday lives.
